Our MISSION is to establish a diverse and inclusive group from all sectors of community including people with lived experience, in order to raise awareness, exchange ideas, build partnerships, and address the underlying social and economic causes of inequities.

What is equity? Equity is the principle of ensuring fairness and justice, even if it means treating people differently to level the playing field. Equity is when everyone has equal access to opportunities.

SEEC recognizes that historical and systemic barriers have put certain groups at a disadvantage, and we actively work to address these barriers to promote opportunity for all to thrive. We work to reduce structural/systemic barriers (like access to benefits, transportation, identification, income, and more) and improve the health of communities.
