South East Equity Coalition (SEEC) cares! Our passion for justice and shared values help us to focus on creating equitable opportunities for everyone to attain their full potential. We are stronger together as we work on upstream, long term, systemic changes that enable people to thrive.
We are a group of passionate community members and service providers that meet 5 times a year, at 7pm, in person, in Steinbach, MB. We are open to all, and would love for you to come and check out a meeting! Please contact us at our ‘contact us’ page.

Agape House provides confidential support to individuals and families experiencing gender-based violence, offering a 24-hour crisis line, safe shelter, crisis counselling and advocacy, children’s programming, continued and outreach support, community education, and healing services for survivors of sexual assault. We serve all individuals experiencing violence, regardless of gender or sexual orientation and treat every person who reaches out with dignity and respect.

Initiatives for Just Communities (IJC) is a non-profit, charitable organization that is committed to restorative justice practices. IJC works to create communities where each person, particularly the stigmatized and vulnerable, has a place to belong. IJC's mission is to come alongside people living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and intellectual disabilities, and those currently or previously incarcerated, to further individual and communal well-being.
IJC’s largest program, El’dad, is based in Mitchell, MB. El’dad runs residential homes, a day program, outreach supports, home shares, and supported living clusters as well as an alternative justice program for men with intellectual disabilities who have come into conflict with the law.

enVision Community Living is a non-profit, community-based organization that exists to inspire equality, inclusion, and the value of all people. We do this by delivering supports and services that provide people who live with an intellectual disability opportunities for personal growth and development, and opportunities to live the life of their choosing in the community.

The INN is a registered charity with the sole purpose of offering immediate access to housing and wrap around support for those who are unhoused. Through daily programs, events, meal services, transportation, and wellness opportunities, we support healthy aging with joy and dignity. ROC Eastman helps children access meaningful recreation by removing financial and social barriers. Through personalized support, ROC works with families to discover each child’s interests—from music and sports to cooking, gardening, and more—and creates opportunities that build confidence and connection. The result is lasting impact for children, their families, and their communities.

We are simply the food bank for the Town of Ste-Anne and the Rural Municipality of Ste-Anne. Serving a small community, we are often called to go beyond just being a food bank.

SouthEast Helping Hands in Steinbach is a non-profit organization focused on supporting individuals and families in need. Our primary service is to give food assistance through a food bank that offers groceries to residents who are facing food insecurity. Beyond food distribution we also supply information for other community resources, helping people access other supports they may need.

Soup’s On is a community ministry committed to ensuring that all members of our community might have enough. Along with serving food, this ministry serves gracious acceptance, compassion and love for all who come to share the table.
The Soup Kitchen serves two free evening meals per week and works together with the Steinbach area schools to provide a breakfast and lunch program for students.

The Healthy Living Team within Public Health aims to work with communities around the social determinants of health (employment, housing, belonging, etc.). Working together to improve these systems contributes to everyone in a community benefiting, and ultimately improves health outcomes of all.

Our mission is to assist people experiencing poverty and lack of housing by filling in the gaps left by other organizations. We seek to accomplish this by meeting their essential needs, such as food, shelter, clothing and relationship while treating people with dignity and respect for who they are; and to support their journey towards holistic wellness.

The Steinbach Family Resource Centre (SFRC) supports families from pregnancy through kindergarten by providing access to educational programs, resources, and community connections. We offer family groups, early learning activities, food and resource distribution, emotional support, and guidance to help families thrive. Our goal is to strengthen families and build healthy, connected communities.
